Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment's acclaimed action RPGs, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and Middle-earth: Shadow of War, are now available on the Nintendo Switch 2. The ports, handled by Aspyr, known for their work on Tomb Raider and Star Wars titles for Nintendo platforms, were discovered on the eShop on September 30.
Both games include all previously released downloadable content and season pass content integrated into the main game. Shadow of Mordor, originally released in 2014, is priced at $20, while Shadow of War, which launched in 2017, costs $50. A bundle containing both titles is available for $70.
For a limited time, introductory discounts are being offered. Shadow of Mordor is available for $10, Shadow of War for $25, and the bundle for $35. This pricing is in place for the next two weeks.
Previously released on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation, both Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War received widespread critical and player acclaim, largely due to their innovative Nemesis system. This system allowed enemies to dynamically track the player, grow stronger between encounters, and retain memories of past battles, adapting their tactics based on previous interactions. The arrival of these titles marks the first time they have been available on a Nintendo console, a move long requested by fans.
