No More Room In Hell 2 Full Release and Console Launch Set for August 11

Torn Banner's cooperative zombie survival game, No More Room In Hell 2, will officially launch its 1.0 build on August 11, coinciding with its debut on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The game has been available in early access on PC platforms for some time, but the full release aims to address player feedback and refine the experience.

No More Room In Hell 2 is a first-person shooter designed for up to eight players, featuring large, semi-open maps. It draws comparisons to Left 4 Dead but offers a slower, more challenging pace and emphasizes melee combat to avoid attracting overwhelming hordes of infected. The game's permadeath system ensures high stakes, with players who fall mid-round potentially becoming fast-moving zombies that pursue their former teammates. The development team has been working to balance the game's difficulty and add polish, though the early access period has seen a "Mixed" user rating on Steam, attributed by some to growing pains.

New Features for 1.0 Release

The upcoming 1.0 build introduces several new features. A risk-free solo mode will allow players to experience the game without the strict permadeath rules. A training ground has also been added to help new players familiarize themselves with the game mechanics before engaging in high-stakes rounds. Additionally, a new wave-based Survival mode, previously tested during a free weekend, will be available.

The game's maps have been expanded, and character customization options are said to be more extensive than in previous versions. No More Room In Hell 2 will support cross-play across all systems. The developers have reportedly addressed over 8,000 bugs in preparation for the full launch. The game will be available for $30, with preorder and launch discounts planned for early adopters.
