Pokopia's First Major DLC, Bubbly Basin, Arrives August 5

The first major downloadable content for Pokopia, titled Bubbly Basin, is set to release on August 5. This announcement was made via a Japanese commercial and confirmed by Serebii.

Bubbly Basin was initially revealed during Nintendo's June Direct presentation. Alongside the DLC, a free update scheduled for August will grant all players the ability to swim underwater. The paid expansion pass includes the Bubbly Basin DLC, which adds a new town centered around water and underwater activities. This new area will also feature additional Pokémon residents, including Mudkip and Popplio.

The expansion pass is planned to include two more updates. A second update, expected later this year, promises "additional new features" with details yet to be disclosed. The third and final update is slated for next year and will introduce another new town. The complete expansion pass, encompassing all three DLC updates, is priced at $35, and individual DLC purchases do not appear to be an option at this time. Access to the underwater diving ability in existing regions does not require the purchase of the expansion pass.
