An enhanced version of the 2025 action platformer Shinobi: Art of Vengeance is set to launch on Nintendo Switch 2 on September 24. Developed by Lizard Cube, the studio behind Streets of Rage 4, this new port promises improved resolutions over its original release. The game will be available both digitally and physically. A Deluxe Edition will also be offered, which includes the Sega Villains Stage DLC. This additional content introduces boss battles featuring guest Sega characters, including Dr. Eggman and Goro Majima from Like a Dragon.
Shinobi: Art of Vengeance follows series protagonist Joe Musashi on a revenge quest after the destruction of his village. The title was highly regarded, earning a 9.25 out of 10 from Game Informer and securing a spot on the publication's Top 10 Games of 2025 list. The original version of the game is already available on the current Nintendo Switch console.
