Star Wars Galactic Racer, the first racing game set in the Star Wars universe in over two decades, is now available for pre-order at a discounted price. Developed by Fuse Games, a studio founded by veteran developers from franchises like Burnout and Need for Speed, the game aims to blend high-speed racing action with the iconic settings of the Star Wars galaxy.
The game features a single-player campaign that reportedly offers more depth than typical racing titles. Players will progress through the Galactic League, with choices in vehicles, missions, tracks, and challenges influencing the narrative's progression. A new vehicle type, the skimspeeder, will also be introduced, alongside familiar customization options.
For competitive players, Star Wars Galactic Racer includes a multiplayer component supporting up to 12 participants. Players can compete on various tracks and climb the multiplayer ranking system.
Ahead of its launch, Star Wars Galactic Racer is available for pre-order at $55.79 USD / £46.49 GBP. The Deluxe Edition, which includes exclusive vehicles and customization bonuses such as a unique player banner, is also offered at a similar discount. Pre-order bonuses are available for both editions.
