Dispatch, the highly anticipated indie adventure game developed by AdHoc, is set to launch on Xbox consoles on July 29. The title, which has garnered significant attention and is considered a potential Game of the Year contender for 2025, will be available on Xbox Series X. The game is currently available to wishlist on the Xbox Store.
Dispatch is an eight-episode narrative adventure where players assume the role of Robert Robertson III, a former superhero who has lost his mecha suit. He takes a job as a dispatcher for a team of reformed villains. AdHoc, the studio behind the game, was founded by former Telltale Games developers, suggesting a focus on choice-based storytelling, character development, and sharp dialogue.
The game features a notable cast, including Aaron Paul, Jeffrey Wright, Laura Bailey, Travis Willingham, Seán McLoughlin, Matthew Mercer, and Alanah Pearce. A portion of the cast is scheduled to participate in a panel at San Diego Comic-Con on July 24, titled "Dispatch: Off the Clock with the Z-Team."
In addition to its console release, Dispatch is also introducing new localization options. The game will be playable in LATAM Spanish, Turkish, Thai, Polish, and Ukrainian. These new language options will be available on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Windows PC starting July 15, with the Xbox release on July 29.
