The Binding of Isaac: Repentance + Online Charts November 19th Release Date, Directly Competing with GTA 6

The Binding of Isaac: Repentance + Online has set its console release date for November 19th, a day that will also see the launch of Grand Theft Auto 6. This release marks the console debut of the complete Binding of Isaac experience, bundling The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth with all its subsequent expansions.

Repentance+ has been available on PC since early 2024, featuring online multiplayer that allows for private Friend Matches with up to four players, alongside public matchmaking. These online capabilities, combined with all previous DLC such as Afterbirth, Afterbirth+, and Repentance, are included in the Repentance + Online package heading to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and the Nintendo Switch 2.

The deliberate choice to launch on the same day as Grand Theft Auto 6 is a bold move, as many major publishers have attempted to steer clear of Rockstar's blockbuster release window. While some games have been delayed into 2026 to avoid the crowded September and October periods leading up to GTA 6's launch, others have already shifted their dates. The Binding of Isaac: Repentance + Online appears to be the only significant title directly challenging the November 19th date set by Grand Theft Auto 6.
