The Rabbit Haul Blends Tower Defense and Farming Sim When It Launches Tomorrow

The Rabbit Haul, a roguelite game combining tower defense and farming simulation mechanics, is set to release tomorrow, September 21. In the game, players step into the role of Sprout, a bunny tasked with defending their garden from a group of raccoons. The narrative explains that the raccoons inadvertently destroyed the town, leading Sprout to transform their garden into a fortified area to fend them off.

The gameplay loop involves planting "deadly organic weaponry" during the day and defending against raccoon hordes at night. Players will actively participate in combat alongside their planted defenses. The game features an adorable 2D art style and employs roguelite elements, meaning players will rebuild Sprout's town between attempts, unlocking upgrades and restoring structures.

New features revealed for The Rabbit Haul include a snowy biome, a pirate raccoon enemy type, additional characters and plant towers, and an infinite mode. A demo is currently available on Steam, where players can also wishlist the full game.
