A new Warhammer-themed roguelike, titled Warhammer Survivors, is set to release on November 10, developer Auroch Digital announced. The game adopts the popular "bullet heaven" or "survivorslike" gameplay popularized by Vampire Survivors, with developer Poncle partnering with Warhammer to bring its expertise to the project.
What to Expect from Warhammer Survivors
Warhammer Survivors merges the frantic bullet-hell action of Vampire Survivors with the grimdark settings of Warhammer 40,000 and the Mortal Realms from Warhammer Age of Sigmar. Players will be able to unlock more than 40 characters from across both Warhammer universes. Each character will feature distinct weapons and statistics, offering varied gameplay experiences. The game will challenge players to face endless waves of enemies and formidable Extremis Bosses, presenting a significant challenge even for seasoned Vampire Survivors players.
The game is priced at $7.99 and will be released simultaneously on Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X. This launch places Warhammer Survivors in a busy November release window, which also includes major titles like The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Grand Theft Auto 6.
Fans of the Warhammer 40,000 universe will have another release to look forward to in December, with the real-time strategy game Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 4 scheduled to launch after a recent delay.
