Amazon has reduced the price of Game Freak's action RPG, Beast of Reincarnation, on PlayStation 5 to a new low of $51.30. This represents a saving of just over $8 from its usual $59.99 retail price.
The game, which launched in early September, has seen a mixed reception. Developer Game Freak has acknowledged the feedback and announced plans for a series of updates to address issues such as camera performance, text size, story pacing, and bugs. The publisher Fictions has released patch notes detailing these adjustments.
Despite a 6/10 score in IGN's review, the game was noted for its promising elements, including an "interesting, apocalyptic setting, an extremely memorable wolf companion, and an action-packed beast-battling premise." However, the execution of these ideas was found to be lacking.
This price drop coincides with other ongoing sales events, such as Nintendo's Customer Appreciation Sale and Amazon's upcoming Prime Big Deal Days, which is scheduled to run from October 6 to October 7. This PS5 edition of Beast of Reincarnation is available at its discounted price now on Amazon.
