SCUF Gaming, known for its professional-grade controllers favored by the esports community, has launched an early Black Friday sale. The promotion, running until November 8, offers discounts of up to 25% on select Xbox and PC controllers.
VALOR PRO Wireless
The VALOR PRO Wireless, SCUF's top-tier controller for Xbox and PC, is featured in the sale. The "Smoke" edition is priced at $139.99 after a 26% discount, while other colorways like "Omen" and "Ascension" are available for $20 more. This officially licensed Xbox controller boasts SCUF's Endurance TMR joysticks, which utilize electromagnetic technology to resist stick drift and offer enhanced precision and power efficiency compared to Hall Effect sensors. It includes a standard Xbox asymmetrical layout, dual-action L/R triggers with selectable trigger stops, and four rear paddles accessible without removing thumbs from the analog sticks. Connectivity options include tri-mode support with low-latency Corsair SlipStream wireless, wired, and Bluetooth. The controller also features sweat-resistant grips, a 17-hour battery life with USB-C charging, and PC-specific customization via the Valor Companion App, including 1,000Hz polling.
VALOR PRO Wired Hall Effect Controller
For those prioritizing value and avoiding wireless, the VALOR PRO Wired Hall Effect controller is offered at $79.99, down from its retail price of $119.99. This controller shares the design and features of the wireless version but uses Hall Effect sensors for its joysticks, providing an upgrade over standard analog sticks with improved drift resistance, albeit with slightly less precision than TMR. It connects via a detachable USB Type-C cable and eliminates potential input lag concerns.
Envision Pro V2
The PC-specific Envision Pro V2 wireless controller is also part of the sale, priced at $129.99 for standard colors and $159.99 for premium finishes. A notable feature is the inclusion of five programmable "G-Keys" along the bottom edge, which can be customized with actions, shortcuts, or macros through the Valor Companion App. In addition to the G-Keys, it offers four rear paddles and two side action buttons, totaling eleven extra inputs. The Envision Pro V2 has a symmetrical layout, interchangeable Hall Effect thumbsticks (with multiple shape options included), Omron mechanical switches for the face buttons, and dual-action triggers. It supports Corsair's SlipStream wireless technology and can also be used wired via USB Type-C, offering up to 19 hours of battery life.
