For a limited time, gamers can save 10% on the SCUF Omega Wireless TMR controller, a premium option for PlayStation 5 and PC, with the exclusive coupon code "IGN10" at checkout. This discount brings the starting price down from its usual premium tier, offering a pre-Black Friday opportunity to acquire the device. The controller is also eligible for free shipping.
The SCUF Omega Wireless TMR is an officially licensed PlayStation 5 controller that features upgraded components over the standard DualSense. It retains the familiar layout but incorporates SCUF's Endurance TMR sensors for its analog sticks. These sensors, described as a step up from Hall Effect technology, utilize electromagnetic principles for high resistance to stick drift, aiming for finer control, increased precision, and greater power efficiency.
Further enhancements include Omron mechanical switches for the D-pad and face buttons, providing tactile feedback. The L2/R2 triggers offer dual-action functionality with adjustable trigger stops, allowing users to switch between a short-throw "mouse-click fast" action and a standard full-throw. The controller also adds six extra buttons: four rear paddle switches and two side buttons, designed to be pressed without removing thumbs from the analog sticks. Additionally, five "G-Keys" are situated along the bottom edge, with two being programmable via the SCUF mobile app.
The SCUF Omega Wireless TMR controller is compatible with both PlayStation 5 and PC. This deal presents an opportunity to purchase a pro-grade controller at a reduced price before the busy holiday shopping season.
