eBay is offering a deal on certified refurbished Sony WH-1000XM5 noise-canceling wireless headphones for $127.99. The price is achievable with the coupon code "SAVE20TECH," marking a discount of over 60% compared to the original retail price of $349. The seller, Secondipity, is described as a large Sony liquidator, and reviews suggest the refurbished units are virtually indistinguishable from new.
This deal also includes a two-year AllState warranty from eBay. While not the latest model, the WH-1000XM5 remains a top-tier choice for noise-canceling headphones, especially at this reduced price point. IGN previously reviewed the headphones, deeming them the best wireless noise-canceling option at the time of their release. The WH-1000XM5 are recognized for their excellent sound quality, effective noise cancellation, comfortable design, and a 30-hour battery life.
The WH-1000XM5 is the predecessor to the current WH-1000XM6 model, which is also available at a reduced price. The XM5 model competes with other premium headphones such as the Bose QuietComfort Ultra and Apple's AirPods Max.
