CD Projekt Red has announced that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered will launch on September 29, offering a free upgrade to owners of the original game. In anticipation of this release, the Complete Edition of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is currently available at a 50% discount on PlayStation 5, Xbox, and PC.
The sale price brings the Complete Edition down to $24.99. This version includes the base game along with the Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansions. According to Howlongtobeat, the main story alone offers approximately 76.5 hours of gameplay, with a completionist playthrough extending to around 233 hours.
The remastered version will introduce several enhancements, including graphical improvements, updated in-game traversal, an improved photo mode, and a revamped skill tree. New features such as an armor transmog system, altered enemy behaviors, and new finishing animations are also set to be included.
For Nintendo Switch owners, the free upgrade will apply to The Witcher 3 Remastered for the Switch 2. The enhanced version is not slated for release on the original Nintendo Switch hardware.
