Several PC games are available for free play this weekend, with two offering extended trials and one free to keep permanently. Additionally, November's Humble Bundle subscription includes several notable titles.

From now until November 9, PC players can try Payday 3 for free on Steam. Despite a rocky launch, the cooperative heist game is reportedly improving, with one Steam reviewer noting that it's "slowly taking a turn for the better."

Also available for free on Steam until November 9 is the 4X strategy RPG Age of Wonders 4. This fantasy game combines empire-building with tactical combat. While some players still encounter bugs and multiplayer issues, it offers a solid experience for those looking to engage in city building and battles, provided their PC meets the minimum requirements of an Nvidia GeForce GTX 670 or better.

Over on the Epic Games Store, the floating city management sim Flotsam is free to claim until November 12. This post-apocalyptic game tasks players with salvaging debris, encountering other survivors, and rebuilding civilization. Unlike the Steam offerings, Flotsam will remain in the player's library permanently after being claimed.

For those interested in subscription services, November's Humble Bundle offers a strong lineup for new members. The bundle includes PC keys for Mafia: The Old Country, The Outer Worlds 2, and Shinobi: Art of Vengeance. The horror shooter Crisol: Theater of Idols, which was released in February, is also part of the November selection.
