Amazon's live-action Tomb Raider series has announced the rest of its cast, confirming several high-profile names alongside Sophie Turner as Lara Croft. The news follows last year's confirmation that Phoebe Waller-Bridge is among the showrunners for the adaptation, with Turner attached to the title role.
The post from the official Prime Video account on the Tomb Raider subreddit reveals the lineup: Martin Bobb-Semple as Zip, Lara's tech-savvy ally from Tomb Raider Chronicles; Bill Paterson as Winston, the Croft family's long-suffering butler; Jason Isaacs as Atlas de Mornay, Lara's uncle. Sigourney Weaver as Evelyn Wallis, a mysterious, high-flying figure keen to exploit Lara's talents; Juliette Motamed as Georgia, a devoted, by-the-books curator at the British Museum; Celia Imrie as Francine, Head of Advancement at the British Museum focused on funds and champagne.
The casting signals a focus on the Croft family dynamics and the museum's power corridors, with Atlas's contested inheritance nodding to classic Tomb Raider lore and long-running backstory from the series. Beyond the TV project, the Tomb Raider universe continues to expand in games, with Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis—a remake of the 1996 original—due this year, and a brand-new title, Tomb Raider: Catalyst, planned for 2027.
Produced for Amazon, the show does not yet have a public premiere date, but the official cast reveal confirms a substantive expansion of the franchise's live-action plans and sets a tone for a museum-forward spin on Lara Croft's adventures.
