Apple TV+ is set to launch a curated selection of original content in July, highlighted by the return of the acclaimed dystopian sci-fi series "Silo" for its third season. The series, which has garnered critical praise for its intricate world-building and suspenseful narrative, follows an engineer delving into the mysteries of her underground society. Season 2 concluded with a significant cliffhanger, leaving audiences eager to see the unfolding plot in the new season, which premieres on July 3.
Following "Silo," the platform will introduce "Lucky," a crime thriller starring Anya Taylor-Joy as a reformed grifter pulled back into her criminal past. The series, based on Marissa Stapley's novel, also features Timothy Olyphant as the protagonist's outlaw father. "Lucky" is scheduled to premiere on July 15, with new episodes releasing weekly until August 19.
Apple TV+ is also venturing into sports comedy with "The Dink," a film centered on a former tennis pro who discovers a passion for pickleball. The movie, starring Jake Johnson as Dusty Boyd, explores the generational and sport-based tensions between pickleball and tennis enthusiasts, featuring a notable supporting cast including Ed Harris, Ben Stiller, and Chris Parnell. "The Dink" will be available to stream starting July 24.
The month's additions extend to family-friendly content with "Snoopy Presents: There's No Place Like Home, Snoopy." This new special, premiering on July 31, continues Apple TV+'s commitment to the "Peanuts" franchise, focusing on Snoopy's quest after his doghouse is accidentally sold. This follows the recent release of "Camp Snoopy" season 2.
In addition to these new premieres, "Trying," the British comedy series about the adoption process, will debut its fifth season on July 8. The new season will address the arrival of Princess and Tyler’s biological mother, Kat. Several other shows will continue to release new episodes throughout July.
