Batman: Knightfall Part 2: Knightquest is set to release on December 15, 2026, and will be available on digital, 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD. IGN has exclusively revealed the release date, along with new box art and an exclusive clip for the animated feature from DC, Warner Bros. Animation, and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment.

The film's synopsis describes a Gotham City where Batman is broken by Bane, leaving Bruce Wayne paralyzed. Jean-Paul Valley, also known as Azrael, must assume the mantle of Batman, employing more violent methods to combat Bane. The exclusive clip showcases a chase scene and a fight between Nightwing, voiced by Mike Prater, and Azrael, voiced by Pablo Schreiber.

Anson Mount stars as Bruce Wayne/Batman and Michael Mando as Bane. Directed by Jeff Wamester and written by Jeremy Adams, the 76-minute film is rated R for strong bloody violence. It is based on characters created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger, with Rick Morales serving as Supervising Producer.

Special features for the digital, 4K UHD, and Blu-ray releases include "Azrael Batman: The Next Knight," exploring the character's adaptation for animation, and "Knightfall: To Kill… Or Not to Kill," which delves into the moral dilemmas faced by Batman and Azrael.

Knightquest is the follow-up to Batman: Knightfall Part 1: Knightfall, which received a 9/10 score from IGN. That review praised the film for adapting the core of the classic comic crossover, its psychological portrait of Batman and Bane, and its visual presentation and voice cast. Batman: Knightfall Part 3 is expected in 2027.
