The highly anticipated Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba movie, Infinity Castle, is now available for streaming on Crunchyroll and for digital purchase on platforms like Prime Video. This release follows the film's extensive theatrical debut, which began in Japan on July 18, 2025, and later expanded to North American theaters in mid-September.
Crunchyroll offers the movie to its subscribers, with plans starting at $9.99 per month, and a seven-day free trial is available. For those preferring a non-subscription option, the film can be digitally purchased for $19.99.
Infinity Castle has achieved significant box office success, currently holding the title of the highest-grossing Japanese film globally, surpassing $790 million worldwide. It also broke records in the United States, becoming the highest-grossing anime movie in the country, a record previously held for over 25 years by Pokémon: The First Movie. This success contributed to a record-breaking year for the Japanese box office.
IGN's review noted that while the film utilized flashbacks, it also delivered "some good fights that provide satisfying payoffs to character storylines years in the making." The movie directly continues the narrative from the anime series' fourth season and is the first part of a trilogy intended to adapt the concluding arcs of Koyoharu Gotouge's manga. The second installment in the Infinity Castle series is reportedly in active production, though a release date has not yet been announced.
This streaming debut comes shortly after Crunchyroll implemented several changes to its service, including the removal of its free ad-supported tier late last year and price increases in March. Additionally, the Crunchyroll Store's premium merchandise will soon be accessible only to Mega and Ultimate Fan subscribers.
While a Japanese Blu-ray and DVD release is scheduled for tomorrow, July 29, a North American physical media release has not yet been confirmed.
