Disney+ is set to expand its library significantly in September with the addition of major film releases, new seasons of popular series, and a variety of original content. Headlining the month are the highly anticipated "Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu" and "Toy Story 5."
"Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu" will be available on Disney+ following its theatrical run. The platform will also offer an official companion podcast and a new LEGO "The Mandalorian" series. "Toy Story 5," which achieved over $1 billion at the box office, will also make its streaming debut.
The streaming service will continue to host new episodes of "The Simpsons," with season 37 arriving this fall. The month's offerings also include a Halloween special episode of "Marvel's Spidey and the Avengers" and the "SuperKitties: Howl-O-Ween Charm" special.
Fans of reality television can look forward to new episodes of "Project Runway," including the premiere of its 22nd season and later, the "Project Runway All-Stars" seasons one through three. The platform will also add new seasons of "Pawn Stars" and "Paranormal State."
Original Hulu content joining Disney+ includes "Flex X Cop" season two, "City of Blood," "Minimum Security," and "Unexpected Loves." Other new series include "Locker Diaries: Camp Rock: Shorts," "Dragon Striker: Gorotama Stars," and "Made in Korea." The children's programming slate will be bolstered by new episodes of "Disney Jr. Ariel – The Little Mermaid" season two and "CoComelon: The Melon Patch."
Disney+ will also be a hub for live events, featuring the iHeartRadio Music Festival and the KeSPA Hanwha Life Invitational. The new season of "Dancing With the Stars" (Season 35) will livestream weekly on the platform.
Other notable additions include "LEGO Star Wars: The Mandalorian The One Shot," "MonsterQuest" seasons three and four, and the concert film "PLAVE Asia Tour [DASH: Quantum Leap]." The service is also re-adding "Pokémon: Indigo League" episodes in batches.
Disney+ plans start at $11.99 per month, with a free trial available through Hulu + Live TV. The service has not announced a 2026 price hike, though prices increased in October of the previous year.
