The beloved anime series Haikyu!! is gearing up for its conclusion with new content released as part of Haikyu!! Day. Toho Animation has shared a trailer for the upcoming TV special, "Where Monsters Go," and a teaser image for the film "Haikyu!!: VS The Little Giant." Both projects are scheduled for release in 2027 and aim to bring the series to a close.

The "Where Monsters Go" special will focus on a match between Fukurodani Academy and Mujinazaka High School, with the trailer showcasing a dynamic exchange between star players Kotaro Bokuto and Wakatsu Kiryu. This special is set to premiere in 2027.

"Haikyu!!: VS The Little Giant" film will continue the narrative from the "Haikyu!! The Dumpster Battle" movie, adapting the Tokyo Nationals Arc. This film is also slated for 2027 and will be the second of two planned "Haikyu!! Final" films. The series follows Shoyo Hinata, a determined high school student aiming to become a top volleyball player despite his height.

The Haikyu!! anime, produced by Production I.G., originally aired from 2014 to 2020, encompassing 85 TV episodes and five original video animations. The anime adaptation concludes midway through the Tokyo Nationals Arc, which is covered in chapters 369 of the original manga.
