Lizzy Caplan has joined the cast of FX's upcoming Far Cry anthology series, a project first announced in November. The series is executive produced by Noah Hawley, known for his work on FX's Fargo and Alien: Earth, and Rob McElhenney, creator of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, who is also set to star in the show.

Caplan’s recent roles include the Netflix series Zero Day and the FX limited series Fleishman Is In Trouble, the latter of which earned her an Emmy nomination. Her other acting credits include Now You See Me 2, Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, the Paramount+ series Fatal Attraction, Showtime’s Masters of Sex, and the 2023 horror film Cobweb.

Details regarding the Far Cry anthology series remain scarce. No premiere date has been set, and it is currently unclear whether the series will adapt existing game narratives or present original stories. As an anthology, each episode is expected to feature a new setting and cast.

The series is slated to air on FX, with streaming availability on Hulu in the United States and Disney+ internationally. This marks another live-action adaptation for Ubisoft, which also has an Assassin's Creed series in development at Netflix.
