Prime Video's popular Fallout TV series is expanding its cast for its upcoming third season with the addition of Manny Jacinto, Thomasin McKenzie, and Emily Mortimer. The trio will join the returning main cast in new episodes, which are set to begin filming in Los Angeles.
Manny Jacinto, known for his roles in "Star Wars: The Acolyte" and the comedy "The Good Place," is a notable addition whose casting has been met with positive reception from fans. Thomasin McKenzie, recognized for her work in "Jojo Rabbit" and "Eileen," and Emily Mortimer, who has appeared in "Mary Poppins Returns" and "Paddington in Peru," also bring considerable acting experience to the post-apocalyptic drama.
These new cast members will star alongside the established ensemble, including Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins, and Kyle MacLachlan. Aaron Paul, an alum of "Breaking Bad," was previously announced to be returning.
The casting news comes as Amazon continues to capitalize on the immense success of "Fallout." The series has garnered over 100 million viewers worldwide across its first two seasons, making it one of Prime Video's most successful shows in history, with each season ranking among the streamer's top four most-watched of all time.
Following the second season's focus on the "New Vegas" setting, the narrative for Season 3 is expected to venture into a new location. The season finale hinted at a journey towards Colorado, a region not previously explored in the "Fallout" game series, unlike the California and New Vegas settings of earlier installments.
