YouTube personality Charles ‘MoistCr1TiKaL’ White is producing a full-length animated movie adaptation of his comic series, GODSLAP, slated for a theatrical release in 2028. The first teaser trailer for the film debuted on September 3, 2026, showcasing animation from Powerhouse Animation, known for their work on "Castlevania: Nocturne" and "Masters of the Universe: Revelation."

The narrative of GODSLAP centers on Aius, a young man possessing a powerful slapping ability. His father, Darius, maintains an overprotective stance, fearing the potential consequences of Aius interacting with the outside world. White explained that Aius is venturing out from his farm for the first time, having been shielded by his father due to concerns about his extraordinary gift.

White revealed that discussions with Powerhouse Animation began as early as 2018. However, the considerable financial investment required for such a project initially deterred him. Years later, Powerhouse Animation re-engaged White with interest in adapting the comic, which is still in development and is expected to be completed about two years before the film's release.

As the sole financier of the GODSLAP movie, White stated that he and the comic's creative team have been involved in every stage of production. He described the project as a lifelong dream and has invested millions to ensure its success. Further details regarding voice talent and behind-the-scenes information are expected to be shared in the coming months.

Daniel Dominguez, Creative Director at Lyrical Animation, which is co-developing the film with Powerhouse, expressed enthusiasm for the project. He described GODSLAP as one of the most humorous, surprising, and thematically relevant comics of the past decade, making it an ideal candidate for animated feature adaptation.

White has prior experience in animation, having lent his voice to Sonar in Adhoc's "Dispatch" and a character in Netflix's "Baki" series.
