Amazon is currently offering the complete original series of the science fiction drama Heroes for $19.99. This digital deal represents a substantial saving of $125 off the typical retail price of $144.96, marking an 86% discount. Heroes premiered on NBC in 2006 to widespread critical acclaim, quickly becoming a prominent new show of the late 2000s. Its initial season distinguished itself as a grounded superhero drama, following the lives of ordinary individuals who discover they possess extraordinary abilities. The show garnered a significant following during its run.
This offer is specifically for the original series and does not include the 2015 soft reboot, Heroes: Reborn. The deal comes at a time when physical media remains a point of consideration for collectors, with other upcoming releases such as Spider-Man: Brand New Day and The End of Oak Street also available.
The original series notably featured actress Hayden Panettiere as Claire Bennet. Panettiere, who recently passed away at the age of 36, was also recognized for her roles as Juliette Barnes in Nashville, her voice acting work in the Kingdom Hearts game series, and her performance as Samantha Giddings in the PlayStation title Until Dawn.
