Percy Jackson and the Olympians will return for its third season on November 20, 2026, Disney announced during a San Diego Comic-Con panel. This upcoming season will adapt Rick Riordan's novel, The Titan's Curse, marking the first live-action rendition of that story. Previous novels in the series, The Lightning Thief and The Sea of Monsters, received film adaptations from 20th Century Fox in 2010 and 2013 respectively.
Showrunners and cast members indicated that The Titan's Curse will represent a significant tonal shift, introducing darker themes compared to the first two seasons. Early footage shown at the convention reportedly featured Annabeth and Percy attempting to recruit Thalia Grace, who is searching for the antagonist Luke. The season's plot will see Percy and his companions embark on a quest to rescue two new demigods, ultimately becoming involved in the ongoing conflict between the Titans and the Gods, featuring the Hunters of Artemis and Atlas.
Newcomers Levi Chrisopulos and Olive Abercrombie will portray Nico and Bianca di Angelo, respectively. They join returning cast members Walker Scobell as Percy, Annabeth as Leah Sava Jeffries, and Grover as Aryan Simhadri. Showrunner Dan Shotz noted that Annabeth's role has been expanded in season three beyond the scope of the original novel, while the season is also described as the most book-accurate to date.
The ensemble cast for season three expands with Dafne Keen as Artemis, Kate McKinnon as Aphrodite, Ming-Na Wen as Hera, Jennifer Beals as Demeter, and Hubert Smielecki as Apollo. Holt McCallany is set to play Atlas, the primary antagonist for the season. An official announcement regarding a potential fourth season was not made during the panel.
