Prime Video has officially greenlit a second season for its popular Reacher spinoff, "Neagley." The announcement comes shortly after Amazon MGM Studios confirmed a sixth season for the flagship series, "Reacher."

"Neagley" has achieved significant success since its debut on September 16, holding the number one spot on Prime Video's streaming charts for two weeks. The series premiered the same day "Reacher" season 4 concluded, offering fans new content.

Amazon MGM Studios reported that "Neagley" reached 40 million viewers within its first 13 days, marking it as the platform's fourth most-watched series debut. This performance rivals viewership for "Reacher," which garnered 66 million global viewers in its first 28 days for its fourth season. Alan Ritchson reprised his role as Jack Reacher in a guest capacity in the spinoff, likely contributing to its strong performance.

The series stars Maria Sten as Frances Neagley, a private investigator and former military protégé of Jack Reacher. In her solo venture, Neagley investigates the suspicious death of a friend, embarking on a dangerous quest for justice. While based on Lee Child's character, "Neagley" is not a direct adaptation of his novels.

"Audiences around the world have embraced Frances Neagley as a force all her own," stated Peter Friedlander, head of global television for Amazon MGM Studios. "Maria Sten delivers a commanding, layered performance that drives every episode, and Nick Santora and Nicholas Wootton have built a world that is both thrilling and compelling. We are excited to continue this story and explore what’s next for 'Neagley' with our partners at Paramount Television Studios."

While a release window for "Neagley" season 2 has not been announced, production schedules suggest it may arrive in 2028, following "Reacher" season 5's expected 2027 release.
