Fans of Rob Zombie's distinctive horror aesthetic can now experience his Firefly trilogy with the release of an ultimate 4K collection. This comprehensive set includes all three films—House of 1000 Corpses, The Devil's Rejects, and 3 From Hell—presented in 4K, Blu-ray, and digital formats with Movies Anywhere compatibility. The collection is available for preorder and is set to release on October 13.

The set contains eight discs in total, with House of 1000 Corpses making its debut in 4K. Accompanying the films are physical collectibles such as art cards, a poster, and a photography book curated by Rob Zombie himself, featuring artwork by Vance Kelly. Extensive bonus features and behind-the-scenes material are also included, notably the documentaries "30 Days in Hell: The Making of The Devil's Rejects" and "To Hell and Back: The Making of 3 From Hell."

The Firefly trilogy represents Rob Zombie's directorial foray into horror. His debut, House of 1000 Corpses, released in 2003 after being shelved by Universal due to concerns over its content, depicts a group of teenagers encountering a psychopathic family. The film, a deliberate throwback to 1970s shock horror, received a critical reception, with IGN awarding it a 1/5. The sequel, The Devil's Rejects (2005), garnered a more favorable review from IGN, and the trilogy concluded with 3 From Hell in 2019.

This release coincides with a broader trend of classic and new horror films becoming available for the spooky season. Amazon is also offering an '80s Horror Movie Steelbook Collection featuring titles like "Nightmare on Elm Street" and "The Shining," and the "Hostel" series is receiving a 20th-anniversary collection.
