The cast for the upcoming Legend of Zelda movie continues to expand, with reports confirming that the late Sam Neill will appear in the film. Neill, known for his roles in Jurassic Park and Peaky Blinders, will be featured in one of his final on-screen performances. The news comes after the actor's death last month.
While Neill's specific character remains unconfirmed, speculation suggests he may portray the King of Hyrule. The Legend of Zelda movie is slated for release on April 30, 2027.
Previously confirmed cast members include Benjamin Evan Ainsworth as Link and Bo Bragason as Zelda. Uli Latukefu, known for Young Rock, is set to play the series' antagonist, Ganondorf. Dichen Lachman, from Severance, has been confirmed as Impa, Zelda's Sheik bodyguard, a role fans had speculated about following her appearance in leaked set photos. Yvonne Strahovski, who starred in Dexter and Mass Effect, is also reportedly attached to the project, possibly playing a queen.
