Apple TV+ has released the first trailer for the upcoming fourth and final season of its science fiction series Silo, simultaneously announcing a surprise release date of July 9, 2027. The swift return for the series, which follows a community living in a giant underground silo, is attributed to seasons three and four being filmed concurrently.

Filming for season three began in October 2024 and concluded in May 2025. Production for season four immediately followed, starting in August 2025 and wrapping in March 2026, with post-production expected to take several months. This back-to-back production schedule allows for the relatively short turnaround between seasons.

The trailer offers a recap of major plot twists from recent episodes before showcasing new footage. It features Paul Billings sharing a secret with the silo's inhabitants and glimpses of rebellion, as well as Juliette Nichols confronting drones and questioning Senator Thurman about his identity. The teaser hints at the revelation of other silos and significant conflict.

Silo is based on Hugh Howey's book trilogy of the same name. The first two seasons adapted the novel Wool, the third season adapted Shift, and the forthcoming final season will draw from Dust. The series, starring Rebecca Ferguson as engineer Juliette Nichols, is set within a massive underground bunker where 10,000 people live under strict, generational rules. The show has garnered positive reviews, particularly for its third season's resolution of long-standing narrative mysteries.
