Potential spoilers for the cast of characters in The Batman Part 2 have seemingly emerged through a leak involving a Halloween costume. Prosthetic makeup company Prosthetic Renaissance, which worked on the first film, may have inadvertently revealed details about the upcoming sequel.

A circulating image shows a severed hand prop made by Prosthetic Renaissance for Heidi Klum's Halloween costume. In the background of this image, prosthetic molds are visible, purportedly for characters in The Batman Part 2. One mold features the name "Zsasz," suggesting Sebastian Stan will portray the serial killer Victor Zsasz. Another mold appears to be for Brian Tyree Henry, with markings indicating facial disfigurement, aligning with speculation that he will play Harvey Dent, who eventually becomes Two-Face.

Further examination of the leaked image reveals a mold labeled "Owl 3." This could indicate the involvement of the Court of Owls, a clandestine organization that has been rumored to feature in the sequel. The Court of Owls is a secret society of wealthy Gothamites that has long influenced the city from the shadows, and its assassin force is known as the Talons.

Director Matt Reeves stepped down from directing to attend to a family matter, with Steven Soderbergh taking over directorial duties to complete filming. Originally slated for an October 2025 release, The Batman Part 2 is now scheduled to premiere in theaters on February 18, 2028.
