Nine Inch Nails members Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have composed the musical score for David Fincher's upcoming film, "The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth." This collaboration marks the sixth time the pair have worked with Fincher on a film.

The musical team's involvement was confirmed with the debut of the film's official poster by Netflix. Reznor and Ross have previously contributed scores to Fincher's films, including "The Social Network," "Gone Girl," and "Mank." Their score for "The Social Network" earned them an Academy Award for Best Original Score in 2011. More recently, their work on "Challengers" received a Golden Globe Award in 2025, and a track from the "Tron: Ares" soundtrack earned a Grammy nomination.

"The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth" is a sequel to Quentin Tarantino's "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood." The film features Brad Pitt reprising his role as the stuntman and is directed by Fincher. Fincher shared in an interview with Empire Magazine that Tarantino's initial script was lengthy, requiring him to cut approximately 60 pages to achieve a runtime of around two hours and 20 minutes.

The film is scheduled for release in IMAX theaters globally on November 25, followed by a Netflix debut on December 23. The cast includes Brad Pitt, Elizabeth Debicki, Scott Caan, Carla Gugino, Yahya Abdul Mateen II, and Peter Weller. A novelization of the film, written by Tarantino, will be released on December 8 as a literary companion to "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood: A Novel" from 2021.
