The upcoming thriller series Yaga debuted its teaser trailer at San Diego Comic-Con during a panel on Saturday. The series is a reimagining of the Slavic folktale of Baba Yaga, presented as a darker, sexy thriller.
The trailer features Carrie-Anne Moss as Katherine, a university professor, who recounts the tale of Baba Yaga to Henry Park, played by Hudson Williams. As the narrative progresses, Noah Reid appears as Rapp, a private investigator searching for the missing Henry. Clark Backo is cast as local detective Carson.
The series hints at twists as Rapp becomes entangled in Baba Yaga's charm and magic, while Henry experiences intense emotions. Yaga is based on a play by Kat Sandler, who also serves as Showrunner and Executive Producer. This original series from Canadian streamer Crave, known for the popular show Heated Rivarly, is scheduled for release in October 2026 on AMC+ for U.S. audiences.
