Arc Raiders developer Embark is addressing a bug that automatically enrolled players into the game's Expeditions, a significant in-game event that requires players to reset their character and inventory for the next season. The issue impacted players who had achieved the 100,000 damage challenge, leading to their involuntary enrollment.
Embark has stated that they are erring on the side of caution and will be reverting the "Departure" sign-ups for players whose enrollment appears to be a result of this bug. This rollback process will begin on Friday, July 17, 2026, at 5:00 PM, and will be conducted in waves. Players are advised to check their in-game Expedition tab to verify that their sign-up status is correct.
For those whose automatic sign-ups do not revert by the end of Saturday, July 18, 2026, Embark has instructed them to contact the support team. Players who wish to opt into an Expedition manually can still do so, and the "Last Call" option will remain available for those unable to sign up before the deadline. Some players are taking additional precautions, such as documenting their progress and inventory, to prepare for potential issues with the rollback process.
