Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced is releasing update 1.0.6 today, introducing a highly requested feature: the ability to hide protagonist Edward Kenway's blowpipe. This cosmetic change allows players to remove the weapon from his 3D model, addressing concerns about its appearance and clipping through outfits.
To hide the blowpipe, players can navigate to the inventory screen, hover over their equipped outfit, and press R2 (on PlayStation) or RT (on Xbox) to "hide Gear." The option can be toggled again to "Show Gear" if players wish for the blowpipe to be visible.
The patch also doubles the number of autosave slots from five to 10, enhancing player progression safety. Additionally, a tutorial for the "throw money" mechanic has been added to the game.
A range of bug fixes across various game systems are also included in this update. Patch 1.0.6 download sizes vary significantly depending on the platform, ranging from 1.8GB on Steam to 15.2GB on Xbox Series X/S.
Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced has seen considerable commercial success since its launch, exceeding Ubisoft's sales expectations. The game has sold over 3.5 million copies within its first 14 days and has been recognized as one of the top 20 most played games on Xbox recently.
