Marvel showcased new material for the upcoming "Avengers: Doomsday" at San Diego Comic Con, including a poster featuring Victor Von Doom and an extended clip demonstrating his powers. The poster depicts Doom in shadow, appearing more menacing than ever.
The exclusive clip shown at the Hall H panel revealed the villain raising an army of dormant Sentinels, a moment described as one of the most comic-accurate depictions in the MCU. The footage also featured a voiceover from Sue Storm, who commented on Victor's past kindness and the tragedies that led to his current state. The clip included intense shots of Thor, Shang-Chi, Shuri, and Gambit, culminating in a confrontation with Reed Richards, where Doom declares, "All of you... have stolen lives. But now, you must give them back."
In addition to the "Avengers: Doomsday" material, attendees were treated to a humorous clip featuring Punisher and Spider-Man teaming up against a version of the Hulk. This particular Hulk was described as a hybrid of sensible and savage, capable of coherent conversation while also exhibiting rage.
The panel also announced casting news and future projects, confirming Ryan Gosling as Ghost Rider in a new film and David Jonsson taking on the mantle of Black Panther in "Black Panther III."
"Avengers: Doomsday" is scheduled for theatrical release on December 18, 2026, while "Black Panther III" is slated for December 15, 2028.
