A new trailer for the upcoming horror game Baptiste has been released, offering a glimpse into its story-driven psychological terror. The game centers on a mother and son who move to the remote Jagged Shore Cliff for a fresh start after a family tragedy. Their new life takes a dark turn when they discover an unsettling doll in a dusty cabinet and ignore the implicit warnings not to disturb it.

Players will step into the role of Tom, the son, who must navigate a suffocating atmosphere and oppressive darkness. Haunted by sinister forces and grappling with the loss of his family, Tom's objective is to uncover gruesome secrets, solve puzzles, and evade the supernatural entities, particularly the malevolent doll, before it claims his soul. The game promises a narrative focused on the protagonist's struggle for survival against these oppressive forces.

Baptiste is slated for release on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. While a specific release date has not yet been announced, the trailer arrives as the spooky season approaches, with several other horror titles also expected in the coming months. These include the recently launched Lovecraftian suspense game The Sinking City 2, Halloween: The Game, the Scottish horror of Silent Hill Townfall, a Hellraiser-themed game in October, and Neverway, which blends farming simulation with existential dread.
