Battlefield Studios has announced a new approach to battle pass content in Battlefield 6 and Redsec, offering players a second opportunity to obtain items they may have missed in prior seasonal passes. This change aims to address community feedback requesting more avenues to acquire desirable cosmetics while maintaining the excitement of current seasons.

Beginning with Season 4, Battlefield 6 will start making select items from previous battle passes available through the in-game store as individual items and bundles. This allows players to collect skins for soldiers, weapons, and vehicles that they were unable to unlock during their original season. The cost for these items will align with the game's current shop bundles, which range from 500 to 2,400 Battlefield Coins, translating to approximately $5 to $20.

However, not all battle pass content will be re-released. Battlefield Studios confirmed that certain items will remain exclusive. This includes content designated as battle pass instant unlocks, BF Pro instant unlocks, and items from the Ultimate and Prestige tiers. These specific cosmetics will not be made available again after their initial season.

The studio stated it will continue to monitor the availability of past content and "make adjustments where it makes sense for both the game and our community." Battlefield 6 is currently in Season 3 with the High-Value Target update, and Season 4 is scheduled to launch later this month.
