Game Freak has announced that Beast of Reincarnation will receive a series of continuous updates designed to address player feedback and improve the overall experience. The first patch is slated for release within the week and will include significant adjustments to the game's camera, an increase in text size, and refinements to story pacing.

The immediate focus on increasing text size is a direct response to a prevalent criticism since the game's launch. Players have reported that the current text is excessively small and difficult to read on standard televisions, even for those with good eyesight, and there was no in-game option to adjust it. This update aims to make the game's narrative and information more accessible.

Beyond text size, the upcoming patch will also bring camera adjustments, a feature that has been a point of contention for players. Many users, particularly on platforms like Steam where the game currently holds a "mixed" review status with only 53 percent positive ratings, have cited camera issues as a hindrance to gameplay, especially during encounters with the game's many large enemies. These reviews often recommend disabling the default "cinematic" graphics mode due to perceived jankiness and performance degradation, with the patch set to change this default to "performance mode."

Adjustments to story pacing are also planned, although the exact nature of these changes remains somewhat unclear. Game Freak's statement indicates that these adjustments will be an "ongoing" process, suggesting that more substantial narrative revisions might be considered over time. The developer's own review noted the game's uneven quality, highlighting strong moments alongside drawbacks like uninspired voice acting, repetitive boss battles, and technical inconsistencies. The planned updates are intended to help Beast of Reincarnation achieve its full potential.
