The final season of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, launching on September 17, will feature a significant crossover event with the iconic Doom franchise. Activision has revealed that players will have the opportunity to earn free rewards and purchase cosmetic bundles inspired by Doom.

A limited-time Doom event is set to begin on September 24 as part of Call of Duty Season 6. This event will include both free and paid tracks, allowing players to unlock Doom-themed cosmetics. Notably, the Doom Slayer operator skin and its "Doom Guy" variant are exclusive to the paid track. While pricing details have not yet been released, Call of Duty's event passes typically cost around $10.

In addition to the event pass, a new shop bundle titled "Tracer Pack: Doom Demonic Essence" will be available. This collection focuses on villains from the Doom universe and includes a range of items. The full pack features the "Marauder" Jurado Operator Skin, the "Icon of Sin" Samuels Operator Skin, three weapon blueprints with special tracers and death effects ("Hellish Argent" M15 Mod 0 Assault Rifle and "Putrid Essence" Dravec 45 SMG), the "Marauder's Axe" Mace melee weapon blueprint, the "Futile" finishing move, the "Prepared to Destroy" emote, the "Cacodemon" weapon charm, the "Death Wave" animated emblem, the "Hell Invasion" animated calling card, and an "OG Icon" sticker.

Season 6 also coincides with the annual "The Haunting" event, which brings Halloween-themed content to both Black Ops 7 and Warzone. This update is expected to introduce a new battle pass, additional weapons, Zombies maps, and a spooky rendition of Warzone's Haven's Hollow map. The release of Season 6 and "The Haunting" marks the conclusion of content support for Black Ops 7, as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is scheduled to launch on October 23.
