Season 6, the concluding season for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone, is set to launch on September 17th, introducing a variety of new content and seasonal events. The update will go live at approximately 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM BST across all platforms.

This final season includes a new Battle Pass featuring two new weapons: the TR51 Para assault rifle and the VMP submachine gun, both available in the free tiers. Two additional weapons will be unlockable through challenges later in the season, alongside a range of new weapon attachments.

The Haunting Returns with Spooky Crossover Events

Call of Duty's annual Halloween event, "The Haunting," returns this year with a significant crossover event with the Doom franchise. Beginning September 24th, players can participate in a Doom-themed event that includes the "Doom Slayer" new operator unlock and "Doom Guy" operator skins. This event will feature both free and paid progression tracks, with event passes typically costing $10.

Further Halloween-themed content includes the "Forbidden Summoning" event on Avalon in Black Ops 7's Endgame mode, and a "Camo Party" event that will offer opportunities to unlock camos and a new melee weapon later in the season.

New Maps and Multiplayer Modes

Season 6 introduces two new multiplayer maps. "Quantum," a 6v6 map set in an arctic Guild facility, will be available at launch. "Bloodstead," a Halloween-themed variant of the 6v6 Homestead map, will also arrive at launch, featuring new decor, gore, and environmental zombies.

New game modes include "T.E.D.D. Trials," which brings three Zombies maps into multiplayer. In this mode, teams compete for score, wielding the Ray Gun while cycling through randomized T.E.D.D. Trials challenges. "Hordepoint," a Halloween-themed version of Hardpoint, adds zombies that attack players and dynamically join the team controlling the objective. "Freeze Tag," a 6v6 respawn mode where teams aim to freeze opponents and unfreeze teammates, also returns.

Zombies Content and Warzone Additions

While the Zombies storyline concluded in the previous season, Season 6 will feature the "Tenshu" survival map, set within a section of the Kowakujo map, and the "Rex Infernus Starting Room" map, allowing players to test their survival skills with limited resources. The "Directed" mode for the Rex Infernus map will also be available, offering guidance for completing hidden story quests.

Treyarch has confirmed a "Super Easter egg" for Black Ops 7, rewarding players who complete all main story quests with additional content, including access to "The Warden" as an unlockable operator.

In Warzone, "Haunted Hollow" will be introduced, a nighttime variant of Haven's Hollow. This version will feature new discoveries, themed Points of Interest, spooky creatures, and a ghost train. Additionally, "Giant Infected," a large-scale version of Call of Duty's Infected mode for 64 players, will be available on Haunted Hollow.
