Pearl Abyss has released update 1.12.01 for Crimson Desert, a single-player RPG derived from the Korean MMO Black Desert. This latest patch introduces several notable improvements, including a fix for outdoor furniture that would disappear under certain conditions.

Players can now expect outdoor decorations to remain in place, and the ability to climb onto moving objects has been restored to its intended functionality. The update also addresses issues with unnatural lighting on glass materials and floating terrain near the Sanctum of Faith. Additionally, a bug where the character Skunky would vanish when placed in a camp has been resolved.

These improvements are now available for players on PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam. Pearl Abyss has indicated that an update for the Epic Games Store and Mac App Store versions is in progress.

Despite a lukewarm critical reception at launch, which initially impacted Pearl Abyss's stock, Crimson Desert has achieved significant commercial success. The company recently announced that the game has sold over six million copies worldwide since its release in March. This success reportedly led to a bonus of approximately $3,400 for every Pearl Abyss employee, and plans for downloadable content are already in development.

For players seeking assistance, Crimson Desert offers various in-game guides, including one on how to acquire pets.
