Crimson Desert's newest update from developer Pearl Abyss expands the game's pet system, allowing players to tame and register up to 100 pets. This feature is tied to a challenge that rewards players with increased pet registration slots, potentially enabling a vast collection of companions. While players can own a maximum of 100 pets, the number that can be actively summoned in a player's camp at any given time remains capped at 50. This limitation may present challenges in managing such a large retinue.

Beyond the pet system, the update introduces other notable changes. A map icon has been added for baby wyverns. Furthermore, secondary protagonists Damiane and Oongka can now utilize mining drills and chainsaws. The game's economy also sees a tweak, with shopkeepers now reselling any rare gear lost by players at higher prices. The pinball minigame, a recent addition to the game, has also been adjusted to be more accessible. Its balls are described as having a heavier feel and being less prone to passing through walls, making the minigame easier to play.
