Capcom has released a free update for Dragon's Dogma 2 that includes crossover content from Ryoko Kui's cooking manga, Delicious in Dungeon. The patch adds wearable outfits for Laios and Marcille, the manga's protagonists, along with custom companion pawns modeled after them.

The crossover is a fitting addition, as both Dragon's Dogma and Delicious in Dungeon draw inspiration from Dungeons & Dragons. While the custom pawns may appear somewhat unusual, resembling shapeshifters from the manga, the inclusion of Laios's armor offers a practical benefit: a wearable backpack. This addresses a popular demand among players, as indicated by the prevalence of backpack mods for the game.

This content update suggests that Capcom may have further plans for Dragon's Dogma 2 beyond its previously released Dark Arisen expansion. While a new major expansion may be unlikely, the possibility of future, similarly themed anime crossovers exists. The game previously featured a collaboration with the Berserk manga. The Delicious in Dungeon content will be available in Dragon's Dogma 2 until January 27, 2027.
