Final Fantasy VII Revelation will receive two story downloadable content expansions following its release, with one focusing on Sephiroth and the other on Vincent and the Turks. This information comes from details surrounding the game's Collector's Edition. Director Naoki Hamaguchi has previously confirmed that the main quest of Final Fantasy VII Revelation will conclude the narrative arc of the Remake trilogy, positioning these DLCs as bonus additions to the story.
The Collector's Edition, priced at $349.99 and available for preorder on the Square Enix Store, includes a variety of physical and digital items. Among these are a special Magic: the Gathering – Final Fantasy "Final Showdown" promo card, a hardback artbook, a mini-soundtrack CD, and a statue featuring Cloud, Zack, and Sephiroth. It also comes with an exclusive steelbook case, a reversible cover sleeve, and several digital bonuses such as the Nymphwing Bracelet armor, Risk Taker's Choker accessory, Polydroid Alexander summoning materia, the Reclaimant Choker and Survival Set, and the Mecha-Chocobo & Moogle summoning materia.
While Square Enix has not officially detailed the content of the two story DLCs, fans can speculate on their narrative direction given the characters involved. Final Fantasy VII Revelation is slated for release on April 8, 2027, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
