Fortnite's Chapter 7 mini-season, dubbed "Treasure Hunters," has introduced a new collection of sprites, each with distinct abilities that can aid players in various ways. These sprites function similarly to those in previous seasons: players can find them scattered across the island, level them up, and extract them to gain mastery. Mastering sprites unlocks rewards such as sprite dust and cosmetic items.

While sprites from earlier seasons are not directly usable in this mini-season's core gameplay, they can be interacted with in the Sprite Garden game mode. Additionally, mastered sprites can be utilized as decorative back bling styles.

New Sprites and Their Abilities

The "Treasure Hunters" update brings several new sprites, many featuring variants that offer amplified effects. These variants include:

  • Fortune: Reveals nearby chests.
  • Cursed: Increases the chance of finding rare sprite variants but inflicts damage from water.

Epic Games plans to release more variants as the season progresses.

The following sprites are currently available in the "Treasure Hunters" mini-season:

  • Halfpeel'd: Marks eliminations on the map, with its detection range increasing at higher levels.
  • Re-Pete: Enables faster reloads and has a chance to refund ammunition.
  • Barry O'Fish: Reduces stamina consumption while sprinting in water and grants the Slap effect at maximum level.
  • Exmarks: Reveals nearby Treasure Maps and Wanted Posters, and spawns a Treasure Map upon reaching maximum level.
  • Plundarrgh: Enhances Pickaxe and movement speed when opening chests.
  • Chester: May spawn additional loot from chests and negates fall damage.
  • Wayfinder: Reveals nearby Sprites and provides extra loot from Buried Chests.
  • Kelper: Restores health over time while in water, with increased healing at higher levels.
  • Lil' Squibbly: Allows players to jump into fishing holes to catch fish and acquire bonus loot.
  • Lil’ Flacko: Creates a small shockwave upon landing, pushing back opponents.
  • Sweet Dreams: Grants a random item upon leveling up, providing Mythic loot at its maximum level.
