The Fortnite Chapter 7 mini season, dubbed "Treasure Hunters," has launched, introducing a host of new content and modifications to the game. This update features a significantly altered map with new Points of Interest (POIs), a revamped weapon loot pool, and a collection of items inspired by popular anime franchises and collaborations.
Map and POI Changes
The island has undergone substantial changes for this mini season. While the number of POIs has decreased, new areas have been added for players to explore. Notable new POIs include Rubber Resort, The Chest, Arlong Park, Windmill Village, Loot Lagoon, Lantern Landing, Loguetown, Lil' Uzi's Stronghold, Cursed Cavern, The $.$. Rocky, Busy Bay, and Plunder Port. The map now accommodates 80 players per match, a reduction from the usual 100.
New Weapons and Items
This season introduces several new weapons and items, many with ties to the "Treasure Hunters" theme and collaborations. Among the new additions are Zoro’s Three Sword Style, A$AP Rocky’s Shock Rocket (available in non-Competitive play), Usopp’s Slingshot, the Bundlebuss Repeater Rifle, and the Gilded Dragoon Shotgun. These are joined by the unvaulted Sentinel Pump Shotgun, Auto Shotgun, Flint-Knock Pistol, Sidearm Pistol, Machine SMG, Tactical SMG, and Hammer Assault Rifle.
Key items include the Gum-Gum Fruit, which allows players to transform into Luffy with stretching abilities, and the Flame-Flame Fruit, enabling transformations into Ace with fire-based attacks. Other new items consist of the Explosive Cannon Ball (available in non-Competitive play), Nami’s Tangerine for health and shield restoration, Meat on a Stick for healing, and the Wanted Poster, which transforms into a Sprite Treasure Map leading to a buried chest. The season also unvaults the Zipline Deployer, Overdrive Grenade, Slurp Juice, Shield Fish, Jellyfish, Slurpfish, Hop Flopper, and Spicy Fish.
Additional Content and Updates
A unique feature of this mini season is the Pirate Shop Token, a rare item found in chests that grants two weeks of free access to the item shop. New content, including additional sprites, weapons, and items, will be rolled out weekly. Lil Uzi Vert is set to debut on November 7, followed by Hatsune Miku and Kasane Teto on November 14, and Oscar on November 21. The season also brings back "Mastery Mondays" for doubled sprite XP and dust, and "Captain's Days" on Saturdays.
