Fortnite is set to host the 'Unstable Story Moment' live event this coming Saturday, August 15, marking the conclusion of Chapter 7 Season 3 and setting the stage for the next season, titled 'Override'. Unlike some previous narrative events, 'Unstable' will take place within a standard Battle Royale match, requiring players to be logged in and ready within the game mode to witness the storyline unfold.
The event is scheduled to commence at 2 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) on Saturday, August 15. For players across different regions, this translates to 11 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) on the West Coast of North America, 3 p.m. Brazil Time (BRT) in Brazil, 7 p.m. British Summer Time (BST) in the UK, 8 p.m. Central European Summer Time (CEST) in Western Europe, 3 a.m. Japan Standard Time (JST) on Sunday, August 16 in Japan, and 4 a.m. Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) on Sunday, August 16 on the East Coast of Australia.
To ensure an optimal viewing experience, players are advised to head towards the Zero Point, located at the center of the Fortnite map, a few minutes before the event begins. Readiness is key, as matchmaking should be completed prior to the event's start. The game will disable all damage approximately five minutes before the event begins, allowing all participants to watch without the threat of elimination.
Following the 'Unstable Story Moment,' a limited-time 'Mythic Sprite Power Hour' will commence. This two-hour period is designed to give players an increased opportunity to collect any missing Mythic rarity sprites.
Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 is officially set to conclude on August 20, with server downtime beginning at 4 a.m. Eastern Time on that day.
