The 'Italian Exotics' series, the third Festival Playlist update for Forza Horizon 6, has arrived, bringing with it a celebration of Italian automotive heritage. This four-week event, which commenced on July 16 and concludes on August 13, is structured into four distinct seasons, each offering a fresh set of challenges and rewards.

Players must have at least achieved the yellow wristband status to unlock the seasonal activities. As participants progress through the weekly and daily challenges, they can earn a variety of in-game items, including wheelspins, cosmetic upgrades, credits, and exclusive cars. The specific races and available rewards will rotate weekly, with the entire series running for a total of four weeks.

During the "Italian Exotics" series, players can acquire specific vehicles by accumulating points. The 2024 Lamborghini Temerario is available for 80 points, while the 2022 Ferrari 296 GTB can be obtained for 160 points. These are part of the overarching series rewards, separate from the weekly offerings.

For the initial week of the series, which began with summer, players can earn the 1984 De Tomaso Pantera GT5 for 20 points and the 2004 Maserati MC12 for 40 points. These rewards are tied to the first week's playlist.

Each week's playlist features a multi-step weekly challenge that requires players to complete a series of objectives. The current summer week's challenge involves owning and driving the 1969 Ferrari Dino 246 GT, earning six stars at Speed Traps in that vehicle, winning two Road Races with it, and finally, taking a photo of the car. Completing all four steps of this weekly challenge rewards players with 25,000 credits and 5 points. Additionally, a photo challenge, #PetalPower, tasks players with photographing any Ferrari at Shikisai-no-Oka for a Pink Sports Coat clothing reward and 3 points. A Treasure Hunt in the Nangan Region, guided by a photo clue, offers 100,000 credits and 3 points upon completion.

Daily seasonal challenges offer a more immediate set of tasks. These challenges typically refresh every day and must be completed within a limited timeframe. The summer playlist includes tasks such as visiting any Cat Meet in an Italian Car for 5,000 credits, earning 10 Speed Skills in any Road Race for another 5,000 credits, winning a Dirt Race in any Rally Monster for 5,000 credits, and smashing vending machines to earn three Feed Me Skills for 5,000 credits. Other daily challenges involve taking a photo of the 1968 Abarth 595 esseesse, maintaining a speed of 100 mph or higher for 15 seconds, and earning three stars at any Speed Zone in a Lamborghini, all offering 5,000 credits each.

Beyond these, seasonal events provide further opportunities for rewards. These include specific racing activities with car restrictions. For instance, the "Night Time Views" seasonal championship requires a B-class (600) 1980s Italian car and offers the Huracán Tecnica as a reward with 5 points. "Italian Spritz," another seasonal championship, mandates an S1-class (800) Alfa Romeo 155 and yields 5 points, along with the Alfa Romeo 155 itself. Other events like Time Attack, Danger Sign, Speed Zone, and Drift Zone challenges, all restricted to Italian cars within A-class (700) and offering a wheelspin reward, are also available across various locations.

Online challenges also form a part of the "Italian Exotics" series. "The Trial" pits players against challenging AI opponents in a team-based race for a Ferrari Dino reward and 10 points. Other online activities include earning drift skills in a Horizon Drift Championship for a "Sheep Bleat" car horn and completing any Horizon Stunt Party for the "I choose my own adventure..." Forza Link. Each of these awards 3 points.

Finally, series events challenge players to compete against rival NPCs in time-based races. The "Electric Town Circuit (monthly rivals)" event requires a clean lap to earn a Super wheelspin and 4 points. Completing a single clean lap is sufficient to claim the reward, though subsequent rivals will present increasingly difficult time targets.
