A new free-to-play Flash game, "Mama's Night Off," based on the "Dungeon Crawler Carl" series has been released online. The game was developed in collaboration with Maeve Chocolate and features the character Princess Donut engaging in gameplay reminiscent of classic arcade titles, shooting magic missiles at falling cherries. Each projectile is accompanied by a "Pew!" sound effect voiced by audiobook narrator Jeff Hays.

The game serves as a promotion for Maeve Chocolate's new "Virgin Dirty Shirley" chocolate bar, which is itself inspired by Princess Donut's favorite drink. The chocolate bar is described as having a dark chocolate exterior, a creamy white chocolate center, dried cherries, and popping candy.

This marks the first playable game in the "Dungeon Crawler Carl" franchise. The series has seen other adaptations confirmed, including a live-action TV show and a tabletop RPG scheduled for release in December 2026. The "Dungeon Crawler Carl" RPG has already garnered significant attention, initially launching as a crowdfunding campaign with Renegade Studios and later becoming a bestseller on Amazon for its core rule book and miniatures during preorders.
